Hi Everyone. I’m back again, third time in a row. This could become a habit, lol. Here are my six sentences. This is from A Wife By Christmas, which is the second book in my Oklahoma Lovers Series. In 1906 Ellie Henderson is a high school teacher, and a thorn in the side of Principal, Max Colbert. He would like more than anything to fire her, but she has ‘contacts.’ And we all know what that means.
His jaw tightened, his mouth working as if to say something. Then like a rag doll, he collapsed into his seat and leaned back, eyes closed. “Miss Henderson, you are a pebble in my shoe.”
“And you, Mr. Colbert, are a horse’s behind.”
He opened one eye. The cursed woman again sat primly on the edge of her seat, adjusting her skirts.
